Tasting Notes
Herbal notes of steamed agave and fresh sweet citrus. On the palate, sweet, with hints of lemon, lime, and agave. Very smooth. Pleasant and long-lasting finish.
Suggested Serves
A great cocktail utility player. Olmeca Altos was crafted specifically for Margaritas, so that's a must.

Production Notes
Jesús Hernandez is Olmeca Alta's Maestro Tequilero. The harvested mature agave spends the first 7-8 years of its life in the volcanic rich soils of Los Altos, the Jalisco highlands. Following traditional methods, the agave is slow-cooked for 3 days in brick ovens, then milled with both Tahona and roller mill, for distinctive smoothness that doesn't compromise on punchy flavor. Distillation is via copper pot still.
