“Coming to us from Ahascragh Distillery in Galway, Ireland, UAIS The Triple Blend is one of the more unique Irish whiskies out there,” says Robert Sickler. “Not only does it have the sharp notes I look for in an Irish whiskey, but its peppery character is reminiscent of some of my favorite ryes. It’s a blend of three different styles of whiskey—single pot still, single malt, and single grain—which offers a palate of creamy vanilla and barley and a finish that is both nutty and spicy. It’s a perfect gentle dram to savor on its own, but it also does incredibly well in an array of cocktail applications.”

Suggested Serves

UAIS Whiskey Sour: 1.75 oz UAIS, 0.5 oz simple syrup, 3 dashes Angostura, 0.75 oz lemon juice, egg white(optional), add all in to shaker with ice, shake well, strain in to a coupe, served up or lowball with fresh ice, garnish lemon twist. Irish Mule - fill a highball with ice, add 2 oz UAIS, fill with Ginger beer, squeeze in 0.5 fresh lime juice, garnish with candies ginger and or lime wedge
